About MWM Preservation
Megan Warley McDonald (MWM) is an architectural historian currently based in south-central Missouri. With a Master’s degree in Heritage Preservation and a Master’s degree in History from Georgia State University, Megan’s passion for research and historic preservation began in the rich urban environment of Atlanta, Georgia. Though intrigued by historic resources in all forms, she is particularly interested in places that tell the story of historically underrepresented communities. Prior to arriving in Missouri, Megan was a historic preservationist for the Florida Historic Preservation Office where she coordinated the Certified Local Government program and worked with the National Register program.
